What does World Postal Solutions do?

World Postal Solutions is founded and based in The Netherlands. It’s founders have years of experience working for international mail providers and parcel distributors. Based on this experience, we saw the possibilities of not just using one provider for mail distribution but use the benefits of all major postal providers.

How does this work?

Sending mail to international destinations can be done in several ways. Most companies use their local postal operator for this kind of mail. For several years foreign operators have opened offices in the some industrialized countries in order compete on your local market. Whether you use your local operator or a foreign one you depend on the rates that they have set for all their destinations.

World Postal Solutions found out that there are big difference per operator to the same destinations. This means that sending mail from the UK to the USA can be a lot cheaper using an other operator. We also saw that being cheaper does not mean that all mail for the various destinations will be cheaper. So if you have mail to more than one destination using more operators can be more cost efficient. Besides the difference in rates for international mail all providers have also local mail rates which can be used. For you this is international mail but for them this is local mail. Using the local services can however be a time consuming effort because of all the local guidelines you have to follow.

What World Postal Solutions did is make agreements with major postal providers in most European countries and some outside of Europe. We developed a matrix with all rates so we can see which operator is cheaper per destinations. Not only do we use the international rates but also the direct entry possibilities and special agreements for specific mail.

Because of our volumes we have interesting rates and conditions. 

What do you have to do?

In order to give you a quote we need some information:

• format of a single mail piece (length x width x height)
• weight of a single mail piece
• number of items per destination
• require service (economy or priority)
• type of mail (printed matter, administrative mail etc.)

You also can give is the maximum number of different providers you want to use. Most of the time we will limit this ourselves.

What do you receive from us?

We provide you with a spreadsheet matrix in which you can see what rates we have an which operator we use. We included an overview for international mail,direct entry and special agreements. For each part we also tell you what operational specifications should be attended. This way you can make a choice between the various options.
